Digital technologies are changing how we work, with technologies bringing new possibilities to the sector. Allowing us to share our collections more widely than ever.
The ARA Section for Archives & Technology (SAT) invites you to submit articles on the theme of digital memories and digital futures for the next ARC SAT Special Issue.
This is an opportunity to share news on your recent digital projects. These might demonstrate how innovative technologies can be applied in archives, or how access is changing thanks to digitisation or the new possibilities presented by increased online access. Or you may like to share your thoughts on how technology is transforming your role, whilst considering what skills the future professional might need.
Please submit a short abstract (a few sentences will suffice) on the content of the proposed article to [log in to unmask] by Tuesday 8th May 2018. Successful applicants will be informed by Friday 11th May.
Articles themselves should be between 400 and 800 words and include a range of images. The deadline for final articles will be 1st July 2018.
Any questions or requests for further information should also be directed to [log in to unmask]
We look forward to hearing from many of you and sharing your work in this special ARC issue.
Best wishes,
Elisabeth Thurlow
