Public lecture: ‘Managing the Experience of Hearing Loss in Britain, 1830-1930’

Each talk will be introduced by Paul Breckell, Chief Executive Officer of Action on Hearing Loss.
Both lectures will be BSL interpreted and each venue has a support system for hearing aid users (the relevant Eventbrite pages have details).
Each lecture will be followed by a reception to mark the publication of Graeme Gooday & Karen Sayer Managing the Experience of Hearing Loss in Britain, 1830-1930 (Palgrave 2017)
All royalties for this book which will be donated to the charities Action on Hearing Loss, and the National Society for Deaf Children (NDCS).
