For the past four weeks, we have been working on publishing the updated
maintenance release of DCMI Metadata Terms with RDFa and content
Thanks to really great work by Hugh Barnes, Gregg Kellogg, Mitsuharu
Nagamori, and Jon Phipps, and inspired by Dan Brickley, the RDFa
document and RDF schemas (plus Turtle) are all available -- you can view
their contents at . However, we have kept postponing the build by a
few days at a time in order to debug content negotiation so that the
PURL for an individual property, class, or datatype  will (we hope)
resolve not just to the DCMI Metadata Terms document as a whole , but
all the way to an anchor in the document . Jon has written an
are currently stuck on the configuration settings that, for the version
of Apache being used, will get from  to  with the term name (e.g.,
I have in the meantime submitted DCMES with the one change to NISO for
the five-year review of Z39.85.
I very much hope we will be able to resolve the remaining difficulties
and publish the latest release of DCMI Metadata Terms next week.
