Ah, I missed the examples at the end of the "Expressing Dublin Core
metadata using the Resource Description Framework (RDF)" doocument. I
still wish the upfront references to the abstract model were not there,
and perhaps that it included encodings in N3/Turtle.
WRT to the dcterms:subject examples, it might be nice to include an
example using SKOS; e.g:
<rdf:Description rdf:about="http://example.org/123">
<dcterms:subject rdf:resource="http://example.org/subject32"/>
</rdf:Description>
<skos:Concept rdf:about="http://example.org/subject32">
<skos:prefLabel xml:lang="en">Biology</skos:prefLabel>
<skos:prefLabel xml:lang="sv">Biologi</skos:prefLabel>
</skos:Concept>
