Many of you know that I run the part time MSc in Contaminated Land Management at Nottingham.
I have been surprised at how few consultants have been able to attend the course, and delighted with how many regulators have been able to.
In order to try and reduce the amount of time away from the office I am experimenting this year with running the course as a series of 3 day intensive short courses. Teaching will start at 9:00 on Tuesday and finish at 6pm on Thursday for the 14 modules over 2 years. One module requires a 4th day and the 5 day study tour (thus far to North America) will remain as a one week module (usually fly out on the Saturday and arrive back the following Sunday).
This means that the full MSc could take only 51 days to complete over two years.
If anyone would like to know more please let me know.
