CliMathNet Conference 2016 - Abstract submission deadline fast approaching (Back to Top)

5 - 8th July 2016, University of Exeter

The themes of the fourth annual CliMathNet Conference will aim to provide a forum for mathematics and statistics applied to weather and climate science, and will include:

The development of novel methodologies to paleoclimates;
Planetary system modelling;
Weather and climate forecasting, and;
Coupled social-environmental systems.

Deadline for Abstract Submission: 30th April 2016

Participants are invited to submit abstracts for talks related to the conference themes. Abstracts for oral presentations should be submitted by 30th April 2016. Participants are also highly encourage to submit abstracts for poster presentations, for which the submission deadline is the 31st May 2016. Please ensure that both oral and poster abstracts are a maximum of 500 words, and if any special characters are to be included, please use LaTeX.

Abstracts should be e-mailed to Emma Clarke ([log in to unmask]), clearly indicating your preference for an oral presentation or a poster.

SECURE Second Feasibility Project Call (Back to Top)

Application Deadline: 18th April 2016

SECURE opens its second call for Feasibility projects.

Following its first successful project call in May 2015 in which SECURE funded five projects May 2015 Successful Feasibility projects

SECURE are pleased to announce that its second call is now open. The deadline for applications is the 18th April, 2016.

Funding of up to £25,000 is available per project; please note projects applying for less than this maximum are welcome.

Successful Lead applicants on the first call (May 2015) may not apply as Lead applicants on this call but can be a partner.
