Probably not - I think libc and kernel changes between RHEL (which is
roughly RHL 9 vintage) and FC3 will break too many things - you can always
try though since it's relatively easy to back out of RPM
installations......
However, the rpm you need for libXext is:
XFree86-libs-4.3.0-62.EL
In general, rpm -qf <full_path_to_filename> will tell you which rpm
installed it.
