The CARISCC Research Network will host its 4th International Postgraduate Conference on Caribbean In/Securities and Creativity at the University of Amsterdam, Roeterseiland Campus, on Wednesday 13 June 2018, 9am-5pm.
As part of the one-day conference programme we are pleased to announce the following two keynote lectures:

(2) “The political thriller, state crime and Harischandra Khemraj’s Cosmic Dance” – presented by Lucy Evans, Lecturer in Postcolonial Literature, University of Leicester, UK.
Two thematic panels featuring research papers by PhD candidates, independent scholars and early career academics will also be presented, with opportunities for audience discussion and Q&A after each session. In addition, one week before the event, a pre-conference online discussion of all the abstracts will be facilitated via the CARISCC blog: https://cariscc.wordpress.com/conferences/
The conference is FREE to attend, and a hot buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided for all presenters and delegates. However, if you would like to join us in Amsterdam as a delegate on Wednesday 13 June, please email CARISCC’s Network Facilitator (Dr Carol Ann Dixon) to reserve a place, c/o [log in to unmask] (by no later than Monday 4th June) so that the conference attendance list can be finalised for catering purposes.
