Thanks to those who responded to my query (below) regarding how to set
output precision in a script called from R (in linux). There doesn't
seem to be any satisfactory way to this!
For OpenBUGS users, Adam Butler pointed out:
> In the scripting language for OpenBUGS the command is of the form
> modelPrecision(8)
> (which would set the precision to be 8 degrees of freedom) ...
And this is essentially what I was hoping would exist for WinBUGS, but
sadly doesn't.
Gregor Gorjanc pointed out that when using the R2WinBUGS library in R:
> There is digits option in bugs() function.
But this pertains to the precision of the input not the output.
