Hello everyone,
We have a Mac user who is accessing his computer via his wheelchair joystick (linked to his Mac via Bluetooth). He is very happy and efficient with it, however, the one thing he can not do is drag. I had a look in the accessibility settings of his Mac and couldn't see anything that would help. Does anybody have any ideas please as to how we can make this possible?
We have tried to use a joystick device from Inclusive (Optima joystick) on his desk that allows access to the drag function, but this is not working for him as his chair can not get close enough to his massive desk. In addition, the joystick on his chair can not swing out of the way. Is there anything out there that could perhaps allow him to be able to drag without any changes to his current wheelchair/Mac circumstances?
(This is a gentleman with CP who can only use his left hand/arm but cannot reach out to items on his desk without significantly increase the amount of tremor in his upper limbs. In comparison, he is extremely efficient with using his wheelchair joystick to move the mouse around on the screen of his computer and type via an on-screen-keyboard)
Many thanks,
Christos Christoforidis MIPEM
