Warwick Medical School (WMS) wishes to appoint an Assistant Professor of Medical Statistics. You will be a key member of a rapidly expanding Statistics and Epidemiology group within the Division of Health Sciences and will work closely with Nigel Stallard, Professor of Medical Statistics, and others in the group to develop a strong programme of personal research in medical statistics. You will also be involved in the appointment and ongoing supervision of a Research Fellow in Medical Statistics.
In addition to the above, you will contribute to research across WMS through participation in multidisciplinary research teams and will be expected to lead and contribute to research grant applications. As part of the Warwick hub of the West Midlands Research Design Service, you will be responsible for provision of expert statistical design advice to local NHS researchers as well as the support and supervision of more junior advisors.
