Healthecon-discuss is the general health economics discussion list. Membership is open to all health economists (and all those interested in health economics) worldwide. The purpose of healthecon-discuss is to give a (previously unavailable) forum for general discussion on health economics matters. The list is international in membership and discussion reflects this. Please remember discussions and announcements are for strictly health economics issues, not general health or other matters.

Members of this list are automatically members of the health economics "Superlist", healthecon-all. A message sent here is distributed to all members of the three health economics jiscmail lists - healthecon-discuss, HESG, and health-econometrics (the "sub-lists"). Each sub-list member receives only one copy of the message, no matter how many of the sub-lists they are members of. The superlist is to be used for announcements about health economics conferences, jobs etc. i.e. not discussion matters. Although the superlist has its own jiscmail www page (for archiving messages) it cannot be joined directly. USING THE HEALTHECON-DISCUSS LIST
To have full access to Jiscmail facilities it is a good idea early on to register with Jiscmail. You need to do this to be able to access the website and to send messages to the list.
3. Click on the "get a new LISTSERV password first" line and follow the instructions.
4. After your email address and password have been registered (which is confirmed by jiscmail via email, and should not take more than a few minutes), you will then be able to fully access the website and send messages to the list.
For those unfamiliar with using Jiscmail,it is best to obtain a copy of the Jiscmail User Guide. You can obtain the user guide by doing the following:
