a) Not to beat a dead horse, but, while Paul (1 Cor. 11:14) doesn't speak of
Christ directly, it does speak of men and long hair.
b) Jesus was a Jew (Heb. 7:14) and probably had Jewish characteristics;
c) As a carpenter Jesus was, likely, physically strong, strong enough to throw
over tables and moneychangers out of the temple (John 2:14-16).
d) I don't recall the verse now so, to paraphrase, there was nothing 'comely' in
His appearance.

Regardless of my personal belief that use of 'religious' images of any kind is
courting danger (is there any evidence in the Bible of images being looked upon
favorably by God?), I don't think it difficult to present an argument that many
(most?) images of Christ are inaccurate.

Have a great day.
