We are near the finish line on the 2000 Congress sched
(May 4-7), but we are still short a few chairs to preside at several
general sessions. I understand that these two nets are not necessarily close to
the session topics announced below, but in desert-like dread I turn to the
two nets I listen into and all those wunnerful wunnerful folks who happily
cross-post Kalamazoo announcements. PLEASE RESPOND TO

General sessions needing chairs to preside follow below. You may
chair more than once, but can have only a max of three program slots:

2. Judaism in Medieval Christian Art and Liturgy
3. Spirituality and Language
4. Revisiting Settlement in Eastern Europe
5. War and Diplomacy in the Middle Ages
6. Spirituality and the Senses
7. The Church in England and Ireland
8. Aspects of the English Reformation
9. The Book Market in Late Medieval England
10. The Church on the Frontier
11. Domestic Situations: Medieval Women and the Men in Their Lives
Feel free to inquire for the specific paper titles in these
sessions, most of which are three papers full.
