Chris Baggs, DILS, UWA RESEARCH ASSISTANT Department of Information and Library Studies, University of Wales, Aberystwyth Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant on an AHRB funded research project relating to Public Library Annual Reports (1850-1919). Applicants should possess a good honours degree in library and information studies, or social history, and have a proven interest in 19th/early 20th century library or institutional history. A familiarity with database packages such as Access2 and knowledge of web-site construction would be an advantage. Appointment to commence 1 March 2000 for a fixed term of 15 months.
