Proposals for 4 qualifiers for the Format element are now in the archives of the DC-Format WG mailing list, with subject lines of the form QUALIFIER PROPOSAL : Format : xxxx : 1999-11-17 See http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/dc-format/1999-11/welcome.html We propose the following qualifiers: Medium, Extent, IMT and DCF1. For your convenience, I have put all 4 proposals together at http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/resources/dc/dc-format-wg/proposals-all.html Please comment on these proposals either by joining the Format WG mailing list or by sending your comments direct to me - I will pass them on to the group. WG members please note, I have renamed the 'Media' qualifier, using instead the singular term 'Medium'. I would urge those of you who were at DC-7 and were unhappy with the term 'Anolog' in the DCF1 list, to let the WG know your feelings!
