Chair in Information Systems / Computer Science

Applications are invited for a new Chair to join this expanding and
successful department from 1 January 2000 or as soon as possible thereafter.

You will have expertise in any area of information systems or computer
science but we are particularly interested in candidates specialising in
information systems, software engineering, information security, human
computer interaction, formal methods, computer networks, multimedia or
artificial intelligence.

You should have a strong research profile of international standing and a
record of successful grant applications and/or appropriate experience in
industry. You will also have the ability to inspire students and to develop
undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.

Remuneration will be by negotiation and will reflect qualifications,
research record and experience.
