This resource will contain over 2,000 scholars in Central Asian studies worldwide -- the overwhelming majority of the world's scholars in this field. The first edition (1995; second printing 1997) is now sold out, but the new edition will soon be available. The Guide provides information including contact data, scholarly interests, and selected publications. It includes indexes by Country/ Institution and Topic. Consequently, it provides the best means available to find scholars interested in relevant topics, to learn about their work and to make contact with them.
