There's a bit in the 2nd Mystagogical Catechesis, section 3 (on the rites of baptism), referring to the pre-baptismal anointing qua exorcism, which seems to use olive oil, as the baptizand was made a "partaker of the true olive tree, Jesus Christ." I don't know if Cyril is unique in his reference to the olive tree / olives; you might check out Yarnold's _Awe-Inspiring Rites of Initiation_ for other 4th century practices. --dlg Deborah L.
