Hi Rob,
Thanks for the news - actually I went to South Wales recently and had no
problem - went out via Waterloo to Reading and back via Ealing Broadway
(going through Reading) and the Central Line,

	Re: Paddington rail crash & postponement of next meeting

	Following coversations with British Rail, there is a distinct
possibility that the Paddington to Reading line is likely to still be shut
on the 20th October.  At the moment they cannot say when the line will be
open as the damage to the tracks, signals and overhead cables cannot be
assessed until the crashed train has been removed (unlikely before middle of
next week).  In the light of this uncertainty and the problems that this may
cause a number of you who will have to come through London to get to
Reading, it has been decided to postpone the meeting until sometime in
November.  I will need to talk to Tony Pettit about availability etc. so I
will let you all know as soon as I have rearranged.

	Could anyone who was invited to the meeting please reply to this
e-mail as I need to know who to contact by other means.

	Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
