I thought people might be interested in knowing that mailbase provides an online searchable archive of lis-pub-libs at http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/lis-pub-libs/archive.html This archive covers all messages which have been sent to the list over the last two years and can be keyword searched. It's a very useful resource especially if you're interested in a particular topic and want to know what's been said about it before on lis-pub-libs.
