Hello everyone I am a very new member of this list, so please be patient! I am the Subject Librarian for Conservation Sciences at Bournmeouth and I have been asked by the School to investigate what classification schemes exist for spatial data. I have done a preliminary literature search, but I have not found what I am looking for. Would list members be able to tell me 1. What classification schemes are in use in academic and commercial institutions? 2. What are the relative merits/demerits of these schemes?
