I'm currently writing up a draft proposal for a
demonstration project in supported accomodation for
those with schizophrenia. The aim is for every aspect
of the proposal to have solid research evidence in
support of it. While the literature searches that
I've done so far have given me a lot of useful
material, there are a number of areas where I'm still
struggling to locate relevent research. So I'm
wondering if someone can point me in the direction of
either a.) relevent tools to help in an internet
search and / or b.) Specific research around these
issues:
i.) Current effectiveness of the dissemination
of good practice in supported housing to the service
providers and their staff.
ii.) The effectiveness of the differing ways in
which the role of Designated Care Co-Ordinator under
CPA is fulfilled for clients with schizophrenia ie by
Community Psychiatric Nurses; by Social Workers ; by
residential support workers; and by psychiatrists.
iii.) The relationship between different models
of funding and practice within supported accomodation.
iv.) Rates and patterns of turnover for staff
of supported accomodation.
