LSE Department of Geography and Environment Chair/Reader
in Human Geography/Environmental Policy (Chair salary by
negotiation: Readership salary up to £37,084 per annum
inclusive) The Department seeks to appoint to a senior position
an ambitious person with a record of outstanding scholarly
achievement and proven research leadership skills. Applicants will
be considered from any area of relevance to the Department's clearly
defined fields of interest which cover economic, social and
development geography, environmental policy analysis and spatial
governance. In the case of the Chair, only candidates with a truly
international reputation of research and publication will be
considered. Candidates must be able to teach and research within
the LSE's dynamic multi-disciplinary social science environment at a
level of scholarship commensurate with its position as a leading
international centre for social science research and training.
