d i a l o g u e s edinburgh 9th Aug.-3rd September A unique opportunity for experiencing a wide variety of works in contemporary sound installation art, video and music. During the four weeks of dialogues, more than twenty artists from around the world will present recent work. Complementing the extensive program of installations and video showings, dialogues will include two live music performances with real-time electronics. These events will involve soloists on various instruments and state of the art computer technology. Along with site-specific sound pieces designed for the Matthew Gallery, dialogues has also invited four composers to write instrumental music specifically for performance in Cramond Island, near Edinburgh during the festival. d i a l o g u e s @ the matthew gallery is organised in collaboration with the Demarco European Art Foundation.
