Hello, I have just started using the SMI eyetracker for a reading experiment. Although the eyetracker is easy to calibrate and set up, I am having difficulties extracting fixation durations from it. In the Iview program, fixations are highlighted by circles, but so far I am having difficulties in finding out precise fixation durations. I have been trying to find the fixation durations using the .edf file, but I am finding it very difficult to match up the information from here to the information in Iview. If anyone has had experience in analysing fixation durations in Iview, I would be extremely grateful if they could help me.
