For this topic, besides the usual MEDLINE searching, I would add searches of other databases, particularly ERIC and CINAHL. When getting into something that is often taught in the schools, either by teachers or dental hygienests, you need to consider the education and allied health literature as well as the dental (in MEDLINE) and biomedical. You might even want to consult PsycLIT - occupational therapy literature there - and other databases your library might recommend. Check OMNI for relevant websites. Free ERIC is available at http://ericir.syr.edu/Eric/ Ask your health sciences library about CINAHL access.
