Two (very) late cancellations have made two ESRC bursaries available for
attendance at this year's Essex Summer School in Social Science Data
Analysis and Collection. Each bursary provides full support for at one
session.

>From 24 July to 6 August, there are still places on courses on: Advanced
Regression Analysis, Multilevel Analysis, Applied Comparative Methods in
Social and Political Analysis, Qualitative Interviewing, Introduction to
Discourse Formations Theory, Multivariate Analysis: Practical
Applications, Sampling Methods, Causal Reasoning with Non-Experimental
Data and Advanced Linear Structural Equation Modelling.

>From 7-19 August there are still places on courses on: Log Linear
Analysis, Correspondence Analysis, Latent Class Analysis, Time Series
Applications, Exploring Social Relationships in Small Sampoles over Space
and Time, Analysis of Textual Data, Ecological Analysis and
'Psychoanalysis, Critical Theory and Discourse Analysis'.

Each course runs for ten days and combines lectures, discussion classes
and, where appropriate, computer lab sessions.
