Korea has several educational programs for physical therapy including many 3-year programs that had been 2-year programs from 1963 until 1990 when they were extended to 3-year programs in 1991. The first 4-year program started at Yonsei University in 1979. As of 1999, we have twenty-two 3-year programs and nine 4-year programs.
