THE UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS Disability Research Unit, Department Sociology and Social Policy RESEARCH ASSISTANT Available from 1 October 1999 for a fixed period of one year, to work on a research project with First Key (the national leaving care advisory service) into the experiences of disabled young people leaving care in the Bradford area. You should have a post-graduate degree in social sciences (including research methods training) and some experience of relevant qualitative research. You should have a knowledge of disability issues and the skills to carry out interviews with young disabled people from a range of cultural backgrounds. This post is funded by the National Lottery Charities Board.
