"Planform" is a new EPSRC-funded joint research project, 
due to start October 1999, in the area of Artificial Intelligence 
Planning.  It is led by the Universities of Huddersfield, 
Durham and Salford, and backed by the UK National Air 
Traffic Service and Cogsys Ltd.  The project will bring
together the considerable expertise of the research teams 
at these three Universities, in order to solve some fundamental 
problems to do with planning algorithm and planning domain 
model representation.
 
A vacancy exists at Huddersfield for a researcher to work 
on this exciting, world class project.  The successful 
candidate will have a PhD in an area of Artificial Intelligence 
allied to Planning, or an equivalent research record.  He/she 
will possess good communication skills and be prepared to
travel and work as part of a team.
