Dear All This is a note to inform you all that I will be leaving the Royal Society of Chemistry on 28 May 1999 and will join Black Pearl Consultancy, London on 1 June as Education Programmes Director. I would like to thank all of you who have been involved in various Royal Society of Chemistry initiatives over the past 4 years. If you have any particular queries regarding skills development in higher education, or issues relating to members rights to practise in specialist fields, I suggest you contact Dr Tony Ashmore, Registrar in the first instance. My successor will be in place in the near future and I am sure he/she will join the mailbase. I look forward to keeping in touch with developments in chemistry higher education in the future.
