NEW APPOINTMENTS - National Library of Scotland Chris Fleet has been appointed as Deputy Map Curator in the National Library of Scotland from 1 April. His other title is Map Library Technical Manager which indicates his principal responsibilities for cataloguing, digitisation and other technical matters. Chris's previous post is temporarily frozen until funds are available. Jenny Stubbs, formerly on a temporary contract, has been appointed to a permanent post as Map Assistant from 1 April.
