Like John we have work to do and are all out of breath from holding it 
- and anyway we're working when he i.e. Gordon Brown gave his speech 
and only seen headlines - perhaps a press release from DCMS would help!

Michael,

Perhaps we will all have a chance to think about and respond to the
governments proposals in due course.  I'm sure most of us were doing 
what we
normally do on a Wednesday morning after any budget....trying to open 
up and
deliver services to the public.  Gordon may have spoken, but the world 
it
goes on!
