We are now taking bookings for the exciting new workshop:

New approaches to learning
24 May or 18 November, London

The need for people to learn new ideas, systems, methods and even totally
new approaches to what they are doing is becoming more vital for both
individuals and organisations. The way we learnt, or didn't, learn at
school, college or university may seem inappropriate. So what are the
alternatives?

As managers, trainers, group workers, coaches or whatever, the need to
maximise the learning or development of the people we work with is very
important. This can be due to a shortage of the time available, the
shortage of resources or the need to deliver value for money. So what can we
do to improve the learning process?

Faced with someone who just doesn't seem to learn, can't seem to comprehend
or understand what is being taught? What can we do?

How can this event help you?

This one day workshop is for those involved in assisting people to learn
i.e. trainers, consultants, coaches, facilitators, those responsible for
staff development and mangers.

The workshop will explore the way people learn and examine our experiences
of learning. It will then look at some of the ideas and models that are
being used to improve the quality and speed of learning. It is not a
miracle cure but it is designed to improve the options and approaches we
have to use.

This day will be highly participative and those attending should be willing
to share their experience and ideas as well as be prepared to try out ideas
and methods.

By the end of the day you will be able to:

*	describe what assists people to learn and what restricts learning
*	list some models and approaches to assist learning
*	demonstrate how to use at least three of the models
*	describe your preferred learning style and how it can be utilised.
