ROYAL DEVON & EXETER HEALTHCARE NHS TRUST/UNIVERSITY OF EXETER LECTURER IN HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH The Royal Devon & Exeter Healthcare NHS Trust is contracted by the Regional Health Authority to provide a Research & Development Support Unit (RDSU) to promote high quality Health Services Research in the geographical area. A Director, Senior Lecturer/Co-ordinator and administrative staff are already in post, along with several Research Fellows and part-time Lecturers. The Trust now invites applicants for the post of full-time Lecturer for the Unit. The appointee will act as a catalyst to facilitate high quality health services research, play a key role in the delivery of relevant educational initiatives and pursue a personal research programme that is complementary to the research activities of the Unit. It is envisaged that the appointee will have a higher degree in a relevant discipline, a background and training in health services research with an understanding of the reformed NHS, a relevant publication record and good interpersonal skills.
