The developer will join a team working on a range of innovative projects to create learning resources for both print-based and technology-based provision. Applications are invited from developers with experience in the areas of: - Planning curricula, materials and services for open and distance learning - Instructional design for open and distance learning, either print-based or network-based - Task based and problem based learning approaches - Experience of electronic publishing, HTML/SGML/XML, or copyright clearance would be desirable. The contract is expected to be for one year, in the first instance. The post will be based at the University's main campus at Riccarton in Edinburgh. Interviews will be held in March 1999.
