Meet and speak with the following authors: Aras Oren, Zafer Senocak, Herta Mueller, F. Christian Delius, Ingo Schulze, Joochen Laabs, Lutz Rathenow, Daniela Dahn. (These authors have accepted our invitation to read. Still in the wings: Christoph Hein, Erich Loest). Karin Yesilada (DAAD Lektorin) will give the open lecture on "Migrantenliteratur" in Germany. Expenses: $475.00 + roundtrip transportation (includes 5 nights lodging, lectures, breakfast and lunch). Location: Berlin, Mueggelsee (near Koepenick). Eligibility: Teachers and professors of German, German Studies, graduate students (abds). Excellent command of German is necessary: all readings and discussions are in German.
