Thought this might be of interest. Glenn Hoddle is the manager of the English football team. His thought processes (sic) perhaps go some way towards explaining why the team is such crap. But perhaps that argument is for another list. While this will undoubtedly create a lot of controversy in the UK and people will say that he is misguided or stupid or foolish (he is all of those), I wonder if his attitude towards us - that we are essentially poor, pitiful creatures - is not really shared by the rest of society, albeit not because we screwed up in a former life. The following appeared in the Times today. IT IS Glenn Hoddle's controversial belief that the disabled, and others, are being punished for sins in a former life. That does not make him a bad England coach, but it is likely to ignite an inferno of an argument. "You and I have been physically given two hands and two legs and half-decent brains. Some people have not been born like that for a reason. The karma is working from another lifetime. I have nothing to hide about that. It is not only people with disabilities. What you sow, you have to reap. ------------------------------ Bill Albert The White House Marionville Road St.Clements Hill Norwich, NR3 4DD UK Phone 01603 402003 From US 011 44 1603 402003 Fax 01603 423432 From US 011 44 1603 423432 e-mail W.
