Following on from surveys on 404 error pages [1] and institutional search engines [2] published in the Ariadne web magazine I would like to carry out a survey of institutional web gateways (sometimes called portals). This will be more difficult to carry out, as institutional web gateways may be distributed across the web site, may have a number of different names and may be difficult to find. In order to help with the survey, I would be grateful if members of this list could email me (and not the list) with the URL of their web gateway. Thanks Brian References 1.
