This desire to use the wrong person for the job is one of the most saddening things in academic websites today, I feel. We are a bit of all of the above, but a type of our own, I feel. On this list, I'd guess I was probably in a job that has been called "Web _Manager_" the longest (1994, I think). Perversely, I doubt that's the title of the main University webmaster here.
