ADDRESSING AIR QUALITY ISSUES Thursday 16 December 1999 at ITS, University of Leeds. This training/open day consists of a number of short talks designed to address the difficulties in assessing the impact of traffic on air quality in the urban environment. The programme will be particularly relevant to those involved with the review and assessment exercise, which local authorities are required to carry out as part of the National Air Quality Strategy, and taking steps to resolve specific traffic related air quality problems. It is also most relevant to researchers working in the field of air pollution monitoring, modelling, forecasting and management.
