When proportionally normalizing without grand mean scaling, what is the formula used to obtain the adjusted pixel values ? In ROI analysis I have simply divided the ROI value for a given subject's scan by the global value of that scan. Thus the final value for the ROI is the fraction of the global value for that scan.
