The COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCES (CEAS) at Arizona State
University invites applications for non-tenure track position of Faculty
Research Associate within the Civil and Environmental Engineering
Department.  Preferred areas of expertise are unsaturated soil testing and
analyses as well as experience with the Integrated Climatic Model.  The
candidate must have a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering of closely related
field at the time of appointment.


Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.  The
position is available with start date of January 1, 2000 with a one-year
contract.
