Graduate Assistantships available immediately in Computational and Theoretical
Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Concordia
University.
Our research program lies at the interface of Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry
and Materials Science. The successful candidates will be involved in
studies of
atomic and molecular clusters as tools for investigating microsolvation in
chemical reactions, as new materials of the next millenium, and/or as novel
catalysts of key chemical reactions. In the course of their research
activities, graduate students will build a solid knowledge of Molecular
Modeling and Modern Computational Chemistry, ranging from Molecular Dynamics
simulations to Electronic Structure Theory, while gaining some experience with
state-of-the-art computer technology. Teaching will be required as part of the
Graduate Program. Assistantship from CDN $15,000 to $17,000 depending on
qualifications and performance. Contact Dr. Gilles H. Peslherbe immediately
and/or send your complete Graduate School application to the Department of
Chemistry and Biochemistry, Concordia University, 1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd
