(Two!) POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONs AT GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
in THEORETICAL PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY

Two postdoctoral research positions are available in my group at
the Georgia Institute of Technology with starting dates between
September 1, 1999 and February 1, 2000.

I. One opening will be involved with further developing iGLE and
WiGLE -- an irreversible nonequilibrium stochastic dynamics -- and its
application to polymerization processes. This NSF-funded work will
involve collaboration with a former postdoctoral student, Frank Somer,
who will be starting a tenure-track position at St.John's University
in fall'99. See, e.g., Hernandez and Somer, J.Phys.Chem.B V.103, 1064
and 1070 (1999).

II. One opening will be involved with the development and study of
dynamic models describing protein folding. This work will involve
collaboration with a graduate student. A publication analyzing some
interesting features of minimalist models is currently in preparation.

Both positions are for a two year tenure (one year, renewable for
second year), and will be compensated by a generous salary
(proportional to experience) and health benefits. Interested
individuals should send a statement of research interests, a
Curriculum Vitae and the names of three references to me by e-mail at
[log in to unmask] or by regular post at the address
listed below.

Sincerely,
Rigoberto Hernandez
