Have you checked the dir at Cornell web site?? It seems that we get requests like this fairly regularly. Assuming that if someone has email access then they are likely to have web access too now, then the quickest way to find a phone no, email address etc is using that particular univs on-line directory (UK or US or RoW). This is always my first port of call, and has never let me down.
