Today's (Tuesday) Guardian has a full page 'Analysis' on Scientific Truth. This is the first time I've seen anything like it in a British newspaper(*) It would make a good piece for 1st year sociologists and/or philosophers of science to pull apart - hence this posting. As an example of its woeful inadequacies three of its four references are E.O. Wilson, Lewis Wolpert and Richard Dawkins. cheers, Jon PS: this is not an attempt to start a discussion, more a hopefully timely message for those interested. PPS and (*): The Sun *did* once have an editorial on Wittgenstein in the late 1980s. No, I am not joking. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
