'Institute for feminist Theory and Research' Call for Papers.

Feminist Pedagogy.
One Day Conference:

Friday 21st January 2000 to be held at the Department of
Philosophy, University of Liverpool.

This conference will explore the theory and practice of
teaching and learning in Higher Education from a feminist
perspective.

General areas of interest include: the RAE, the TQA, the
distinction between teaching and research, the 'normative
subject of educational practice', the relationship between
feminist theory and practice within the academy.

We particularly welcome papers that question definitions
of quality and good practice circulated in the Quality

function of feminist pedagogy within the academy. Papers
need not be of traditional form.

We intend to publish the conference proceedings. Please send
paper abstracts by 1st June 1999 to either of the conference
organisers.
