These one-day events will be led by EUCLID, the UK Cultural Contact Point for European funding programmes. Market Segmentation The British Tourist Authority (BTA) has kindly agreed to run two workshops specifically for museums and galleries on tourism marketing - with special attention paid to dividing audiences up into key target segments in order to make the best use of limited marketing resources. The Yorkshire and Humberside Museums Council are hosting one of these two-day sessions at their offices at Farnley Hall on 13 and 14 October. The second is due to be held in the South West of England later in the year. Again there is no charge for these workshops, but delegates will have to find and pay for their own overnight accommodation as necessary.
